Hallingbury is an old converted flour mill on the banks of the River Stort only 16 mins drive from stansted airport. We are a warm friendly country guest house with much to do in an informal environment just 8km from Stansted Airport.
There has been a mill at Hallingbury from the 1600s the present building was built in 1874. We serve good fresh food and have an excellent wine cellar there are many event thorough out the year ie River regatta murder mystery weekend and Burns suppers to name but a few. Please be aware the site is non smoking

All children are welcome. All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

By Car:
- From the M11 junction 8, take the A120 to Bishops Stortford.
- At the 1st roundabout turn left and head straight on at the mini roundabout.
- At the Hockerill traffic lights, turn left.
- At the next mini roundabout, go straight ahead and follow the A1060 to Hatfield Heath.
- Follow this road for 4 miles into Little Hallingbury.
- Shortly after passing the George pub, turn right for Gaston Green.
- Follow the road until you reach the duck pond.
- Turn right into a small lane marked no through road/Tedingbury lock.
- Hallingbury Mill is at the bottom of the hill.
Transfers to or from the airport can be arranged on request prior to arrival.
